BELGIUM WILL FACE ITALY
A draw was held in Vienna on Tuesday morning for the first round of the second qualifying phase of the 2025 World Handball Championship, which will take place in Denmark, Croatia and Norway. Belgium will face Italy. The first game will be played on 13 March in Hasselt. The return match is scheduled on 16/17 March.

THE RED WOLVES PLAY A FRIENDLY AGAINST LUXEMBOURG
The national men’s handball team will play an extra friendly game against Luxembourg on Wednesday afternoon at 15:00. The match will take place in Sporthal De Bist in Antwerp. Luxembourg were due to play a double World Cup qualifier against Israel next week, but that match will not take place.
