TWO YOUTH TEAMS TAKE PART AT EUROPEAN HANDBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Royal Belgian Handball Federation has entered two youth teams for the 2024 European Handball Championship. The M18 will take part in the Men’s 18 EHF Championship from 5 to 11 August. The M20 will take part in their European Championship from 13 to 21 July.  The Red Wolves will prepare for their important European Championship barrage matches against Cyprus via an abroad stage.  The first World Cup qualifiers are scheduled for March.

NEW GENERATION OF MEN 17

On Sunday 06/11 the new generation of the Men17 came together for the first time in Groot-Bijgaarden. The parents of the players were informed in group about the operations of the new team, just as the players were given a briefing. Afterwards there was intensive training from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
The current selection originally comes from a group of 95 players that was eventually reduced to 34 (including reserve players). Their first major assignment will be the four-country tournament that will be played in Lokeren in December. 18 players will be selected for that tournament.
