THE RED WOLVES FAIL TO PULL OFF A STUNT IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The Red Wolves failed to pull off a stunt in the Czech Republic on Sunday, losing their final European Championship qualifier 25–22. At half-time, the score was 12–8. The Red Wolves made up for an early deficit, but a lack of efficiency once again cost them dearly. In the second half, the Belgians kept the score even but were unable to close the gap. Croatia and the Czech Republic qualify for the European Championship. Belgium finishes third in Group 5, winning none of its home games and only managing to win away in Luxembourg.
